The company

MVRK is a Canadian Salesforce consultancy founded in 2020 by Vuk Stajić. The company helps organizations implement, improve, and transform their Salesforce environments, with a focus on making technology investments deliver real business value.

Its team frequently works with Salesforce environments built and modified by previous developers or consulting partners. These environments can contain years of customizations, undocumented decisions, and technical debt.

Understanding what already exists is essential before MVRK can safely recommend or implement changes.

The challenge: taking responsibility for systems you didn't build

When a consultancy inherits an existing Salesforce environment, even seemingly simple requests can require extensive investigation.

A Flow behaves unexpectedly. A client requests functionality that might already exist. Two legacy integrations need to be replaced, but nobody knows exactly what they do.

Without reliable documentation, answering these questions often means manually exploring configuration, code, and automations, or escalating the investigation to a developer.

“It's opening up the ability for those of us who are not developers to answer questions from our clients without having to escalate to our developers.”
Vuk Stajić, Founder, MVRK

For MVRK, dx0 has changed how the team approaches these situations.

The results: three real examples

1. Troubleshooting an urgent Salesforce issue

A client reported that a screen Flow kept appearing when users opened an Opportunity. The screen asked users to close an Opportunity that was already closed, leaving them stuck.

Vuk hadn't built the original Flow. Instead of manually searching through the environment, he asked dx0 what was launching it.

dx0 identified the Opportunity Lightning page as the source and helped Vuk investigate how to prevent the unwanted behavior. He could then share actionable findings with his client without spending hours exploring an unfamiliar part of Salesforce.

“Now I'm bringing more value to my client and I'm eliminating the need to have to dig deep and dive into a complex solution.”
Vuk Stajić, Founder, MVRK

2. Avoiding unnecessary development

While reviewing user stories for another client, MVRK needed to understand whether requested functionality was already supported by the existing Salesforce environment.

Vuk asked dx0 to evaluate a user story against the configuration. Rather than immediately recommending new development, dx0 identified existing building blocks and areas worth investigating.

That gave MVRK a way to consider reusing functionality before building something new.

“This is something that I've never had a way to do without this.”
Vuk Stajić, Founder, MVRK

3. Preparing to replace two legacy billing integrations

In the most complex example, a client wanted to retire two billing solutions connected to Salesforce and replace them with a single new system.

MVRK needed to identify where the existing integrations were implemented, what business logic depended on them, and which requirements the replacement would need to support. The challenge was that MVRK hadn't built the original integrations.

dx0 helped the team identify the relevant configuration and dependencies, focus its technical review, and understand what the new solution would need to accommodate.

“It's a huge advantage to being able to dive in quickly, see what's there, define the actual requirements of what the new tool would be and give guidance to our clients without having to spend hours and hours and hours exploring things and potentially missing something.”
Vuk Stajić, Founder, MVRK

Vuk emphasized that the team still verified the findings through its own technical investigation. dx0 helped direct that effort toward the areas that mattered.

More value for clients, less time searching

For MVRK, dx0 has become a way to bring existing Salesforce knowledge into everyday client work.

The team can investigate unfamiliar environments, validate requirements, and prepare for complex changes without relying entirely on manual discovery. It also means non-developers can contribute to technical investigations that previously required escalation.

“For the price that we're paying, we're getting crazy value out of this tool and I had to share it with the ecosystem.”
Vuk Stajić, Founder, MVRK

MVRK pays for the platform. Its feedback was shared unsolicited.

Enterprise software intelligence in practice

MVRK's experience demonstrates why understanding existing enterprise software is so important before making changes.

Whether troubleshooting a broken Salesforce process, evaluating new requirements, or replacing legacy integrations, the difficult part often starts with understanding what previous teams built. dx0 gives MVRK a faster way to uncover that knowledge and use it to guide client decisions.

It's also an example of how dx0 works alongside implementation partners. MVRK owns the client relationship and the implementation work, while dx0 provides the underlying intelligence that helps the team investigate, plan, and execute with greater confidence.

Understand what exists before you change it.
